Knee and hip artrosis

Did a doctor diagnose you with knee or hip artrosis?

SJCN covers 12 treatments of physical therapy.

In artrosis, the cartilage of the joint is damaged, and also muscles and ligaments undergo changes which can cause pain. Surgery is not always immediately necessary. With a daily routine of exercises, you can improve the condition of your joint for less pain.

Before surgery: Are you getting a knee or hip replacement? I can treat you before and after your surgery. Prior to surgery it is important to maintain as much muscle strength as possible.

After surgery it is important to retain control over your daily activities in a safe manner. Some movements are temporarily restricted. Your joint needs to regain strength and mobility to use your joint in a proper way again.
